The short version: this site does not use analytics, marketing trackers, or cookies set by us. The long version is below.

Who we are

AthenaAutomation.ai is operated by Athena Automation, an AI automation agency based in San Francisco, California, United States. References to "we", "us", and "our" in this policy mean Athena Automation. For any privacy question, email [email protected].

What this policy covers

This policy explains what information we collect from visitors to www.athenaautomation.ai and how we handle it. It does not cover anything we do outside this site — for example, what happens after you email us is described under "When you contact us" below.

Information we collect on this site

Almost nothing. Specifically:

  • No forms. The site has no contact form, no newsletter sign-up, no comment system, no login, no chat widget, and no other place where you can submit information directly to us through the site.
  • No analytics or marketing trackers. We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag, Mixpanel, Hotjar, or any other third-party analytics, advertising, or behavior-tracking technology.
  • No cookies set by us. The site does not set any cookies. It does not write to local storage, session storage, or any other browser persistence mechanism for tracking purposes.
  • No fingerprinting. We do not attempt to identify visitors by device characteristics, IP, or any other indirect signal.

Cookies set by our hosting provider

Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, may set a strictly-necessary security cookie named __cf_bm on visitors' browsers. This cookie is used to identify and block automated bot abuse and is required for the site to operate safely. It is exempt from consent requirements under EU ePrivacy Directive Article 5(3) and equivalent laws. We do not have access to the contents of this cookie.

We will update this section if any additional cookies are introduced — for example, if we add analytics in the future. If that happens, we will also add a consent mechanism for the cookies that legally require one.

Server access logs

Our hosting provider records standard web server access logs: IP address, timestamp, user agent, request URL, response code. These logs exist to operate the site, debug technical issues, and defend against attacks (rate limiting, DDoS mitigation, abuse detection). We do not export these logs, link them to identities, share them with anyone, or use them for marketing.

When you contact us

If you email us — including to schedule an audit — we keep the email thread and your contact details for the purpose of corresponding with you and managing the potential or active engagement. We do not add your address to a newsletter, a marketing list, or any third-party tool other than the email provider hosting our mailbox. If you ask us to delete the correspondence, we will, subject to legitimate retention obligations (for example, signed contracts or invoices).

What we do not do

  • We do not sell, rent, or share visitor information with anyone.
  • We do not contact people who have not contacted us through this site.
  • We do not use behavioral profiling, retargeting ads, or cross-site tracking.
  • We do not transfer visitor data outside the United States except as a normal consequence of using globally distributed hosting (Cloudflare).

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the UK GDPR, the California Consumer Privacy Act / California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA), and similar laws. These rights typically include:

  • The right to know what information, if any, we hold about you.
  • The right to ask us to correct inaccurate information.
  • The right to ask us to delete information.
  • The right to a copy of information we hold about you, in a portable format.
  • The right to opt out of any "sale" or "sharing" of your information — we do not engage in either.

To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected]. We aim to respond within five business days.

Children

This site is intended for business users. It is not directed at children under sixteen, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under sixteen.

Security

This site is served over HTTPS with HSTS, content-security-policy hardening, and other standard transport and application-level protections. Our email and operational systems use the standard access controls of their respective vendors (Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, etc.). No system is perfectly secure; we will notify affected individuals and applicable regulators if a breach affecting personal information ever occurs.

Changes to this policy

When the site changes in a way that affects this policy — for example, when we add analytics, a contact form, or a chat widget — we will update this page and revise the "Last updated" date at the top. Material changes (anything that affects what we collect or how we handle it) will be reflected here before the change goes live. We will not retroactively apply weaker protections to information collected under an earlier version of this policy.
